8th Annual U.S.VETS 5k Patriot Run/Walk
All proceeds to benefit the U.S.VETS Initiative in Kalaeloa, Hawaii

Race Start: 8:00 a.m.

Race Course: 5k (3.1 miles) a flat run or walk through The Waterfront at Pu’uloa’s beautiful community alongside the lagoons with a finish line at the beach! Strollers and leashed dogs welcome, and for safety will need to start behind all other runners and walkers.
Race Sponsorship: All race participants will be challenged to fund raise for the veterans by asking friends, family and colleagues to sponsor them in the race. Your own personalized fund raising page will be provided!

Late Entries: Race entries postmarked after November 10, 2011 will be charged a $5 late fee. Late entries will be accepted on race morning.
Packet Pick up: November 15, 2012 at Runners Hi (98-390 A Kam Hwy, Aiea) 3:00 p.m. to 6:00p.m. and November 16, 2012 at The Waterfront at Pu’uloa at the finish line from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Awards and Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall male and female. 1st 2nd and 3rd to age group categories 14 and under, 15-29, 20-29, 30-39, 40-29, 50-59 and 60 and over.

Every dollar makes a difference in the life of a veteran…
Donating to U.S.VETS helps us carry on our mission to serve homeless military veterans and their families. Just one day's worth of gasoline used to shuttle veterans to and from the VA Hospital costs $110. Once a veteran gains employment, a bus pass used to get to and from work costs $60. To serve food to the veterans at our facility costs $1,200 per day. These are just some of the examples of how your support will help our nation's heroes get back on their feet!
